Flashcards
Poem
The lion’s cake
Written by Angie, Marcela, and Jenny
Here there is a lion,
He
comes with his lioness
They travel here by train
Both carrying a big cake
They sit at the shore of the lake
And both their manes shake
Oh! What’s that? Is it an ape?
Is there an ape in that huge cave?
The ape is doing a paint
A paint about a big wave
He is painting also both lions
With a lot of colorful crayons
But now, here is the rain
And the lions quickly go into the cave
It seems like a game
They run as in a race!
The ape in the cave is with a snake
Oh! What’s that? It’s the cake…
They stole the cake
The lions baked
Here is the end of this tale
But is it the end of the day?
Video Song
Let’s play twister!!
In this game, we will have two boards, one is the floorboard and the other one is the board game.
Your teachers will spin
the board game and they will give you some hints to place your hands and feet.
Examples:
“You will place you right
hand in a blue spot with a word that has the A long vowel sound that is written
with -a-“
“You will place you left
foot in a yellow spot with a word that has the A long vowel sound that is
written with -ay-“
The first person falling down is the person who loses the game.
This is the board game that your teachers
will spin first to know where to place the hands and
feet.
